What’s it all about?

Welsh Government has declared a nature emergency and action is urgently needed to reverse the decline of our habitats and species in Wales. We are putting in place an exciting new three-year programme of biodiversity and conservation work with support from Welsh Government’s Nature Networks Programme.

We are looking for motivated environmental experts to deliver a suite of projects focussed on protected habitats and species. The posts will focus on place-based conservation work as well as habitat specific projects over larger areas.

Through the Nature Networks programme, these posts will expand on the level of conservation management work we already do. Join us to be a key part of the improving the condition of our habitats and species and make a positive difference to the environment of Wales.

What posts are available?

You’ll find a full list of the new posts available below. We welcome applications for multiple posts as well as applications for secondments. Please indicate within your application form which post(s) you are interested in.  If you are interested in a secondment, please discuss with your employer and contact NRW as soon as possible.
